Lagardère Travel Retail appoints 3 new country CEOs
BULGARIA & ROMANIA
Effective November 1st
Stefan Picard, ex-CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail Bulgaria and Romania has been appointed EVP Commercial Development and Transformation at Lagardère Travel Retail (in the duty free division).
Mladen Yordanov becomes CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail Bulgaria. Mladen graduated from the University of National and World Economy, in Sofia. At Lagardère Travel Retail in Bulgaria, a company he joined in 2008, Mladen Yordanov has successively held the position of Chief Financial Officer, Store Network Director, Deputy General Manager and Managing Director.
In Romania, Marius Vacalau, becomes CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail Romania. A graduate of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Marius joined the Group in 2007, as Commercial & Marketing Director of Lagardère Travel Retail in Romania. In 2011, he was promoted Chief Operating Officer, a position that he has been holding until now.
UK & IRELAND
Effective October 1st
Marion Engelhard has taken over the position of CEO Lagardère Travel Retail United Kingdom & Ireland from Amaury Dehen, who has become the COO of Lagardère Travel Retail in Abu Dhabi.
Marion Engelhard joined the Lagardère Group in 2006, at the Internal Audit Department. In 2010, she moved to the Business Controlling Department in the duty free division. In 2012, she moved to Italy, where she very actively took part in the creation of the Italian subsidiary. In 2017, she returned to Paris, to head the Operations and Development Department at DFG.
