Building a Sustainable Future for Travel Retail

As a global travel retail operator serving millions of travelers every day, we recognize our responsibility to help shape a more sustainable industry. Sustainability is not an option : it’s a commitment embedded in everything we do.

Our CSR strategy, PEPS (Planet. Ethics. People. Social), drives this transformation. It focuses on reducing our environmental footprint, promoting ethical practices, empowering our people, and supporting local communities. Each pillar is backed by measurable targets aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and monitored annually.

Driving positive impact across our ecosystem

To drive our strategy in an environment of fast changes and major challenges, we are articulating it around four pillars designed to address every area where we can make a difference.

PEPS is our roadmap to embed sustainability at the heart of our business. From reducing our environmental footprint and promoting ethical practices, to empowering our people and supporting local communities, these pillars guide our actions and commitments across the globe.

Description of PEPS' strategy 4 pilars

Planet

We are committed to reducing the environmental footprint of our operations and aligning with the most ambitious industry standards. Our approach covers direct emissions (Scopes 1 & 2), where we have already achieved 100% renewable electricity across our operations (*for our consolidated perimeter) since 2023, and indirect emissions (Scope 3) which represent a major part of our impact and consumption.
By working closely with our suppliers and partners, we aim to cut Scope 3 emissions by 25% by 2030, in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) requirements. Our climate targets have been officially validated by SBTi in 2025, further solidifying our roadmap.

Beyond carbon, we are driving circularity through waste reduction, responsible packaging, and innovative alternatives to single-use plastics. From energy efficiency in stores to anti-waste programs like FLOW*, every action brings us closer to a sustainable model.

Ethics

We are devoted to ensuring that responsibility and ethical behavior is embedded in every aspect of our business. This means sharing ethical values with our suppliers and promoting products that meet rigorous sustainability and integrity standards.

Our approach includes 100% supplier adherence to our Responsible Supplier Charter, comprehensive anti-bribery training for all new employees and risk populations, and strict sourcing criteria for ingredients and products. Through our Responsible Offer program, We Care We Do*, we continuously improve our product selection to guarantee strong commitments in areas such as environmental impact, animal welfare, and nutrition.

By fostering transparency and accountability, we aim to be the partner of choice for a responsible offer, creating long-term value for travelers, brands, and communities.

People

We place people at the heart of our strategy and aim to be recognized as the most attractive employer in the Travel Retail industry, thanks to a people centric approach. We foster diversity and equal opportunities, promote employee engagement, ensure security and well-being at work.

Our approach includes people development through global trainings and local actions, regular employee engagement surveys across all countries, and initiatives to support professional growth and inclusion. By creating an inclusive and stimulating work environment, we empower our teams to thrive and contribute to a sustainable future. We actively celebrate cultural diversity and encourage local initiatives that strengthen belonging and collaboration across our global network.

Social

Supporting communities and leveraging our global network is essential to make a meaningful impact. Worldwide, we take action through targeted donations, volunteering programs, and local initiatives  that address local needs and foster long-term partnerships.

As we are strongly dedicated to local empowerment, our ambition is to reach 100% of countries running community initiatives,  and we are progressively integrating new markets into this collective effort. We encourage employees to dedicate time and expertise through structured volunteering programs. Worldwide, countries are highly committed to support social projects, with a strong focus on health-related actions, including cancer awareness and prevention, alongside environmental restoration or support to populations in need.

By working hand in hand with local organizations, we aim to create shared value and strengthen communities' impact of the regions where we operate.
